About the company

Motor Distributors Limited is a subsidiary of O’Flaherty Holdings and has been in business since the mid-1940s. MDL has built a highly successful business over the past 7 decades and is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading and most distinguished motor vehicle distributors for many of the world’s leading motor brands. Best known as the Irish Distributor for Mercedes-Benz since 1954, following extensive research in the global electric and hybrid vehicles market, BYD was launched in 2023 and subsequently the newly-designed smart brand was added to our portfolio in 2024. We are now delighted to have secured yet another exciting brand, XPENG, as our latest chosen brand to import into Ireland.
